World Stars 5-4 Iraq Stars in Basra

A star-studded Legends game at Basra Stadium ended 5-4 to the World Stars team against a team of Iraqi legends. Younis Mahmoud and Nashat Akram both got on the scoresheet for the team in green, but a brilliant hat-trick from Patrick Kluivert as well as goals from Robert Pires and Luis Garcia consigned the Iraqis to defeat.

The event should help Iraq's pledge to FIFA to lift the ban on competitive international games being held inside the country. Click here to see all nine goals from the game.

Basim Qasim's Iraq win last two WCQ games
